Looking for more streams of revenue for your business? Our preferred partner Harvest Hosts, helps thousands of farms, wineries, breweries and more, increase their revenue by tens of thousands of dollars each year. Feeling like this sounds too good to be true? It’s not! Let’s dive into how you could be enjoying this cashflow just like these savvy business owners.

What is Harvest Hosts?

Harvest Hosts connects over 225,000 self-contained RVers to a network of thousands of small businesses ("Hosts"). Hosts simply offer RVers a one-night stay on their property, and, in return, RVers patronize the business while spending the night (an average of $50 per night). The program is free for Hosts to join and 100% of the money spent on site goes straight to the Host.

Members pay a nominal membership fee to access a robust list of Host locations, and in exchange, Members are encouraged to make a purchase at each Host location they visit. Whether it’s produce, a farm tour, a bottle of wine, or souvenirs from a gift shop, Members are eager to support the businesses they stay with. Well established Hosts see an average additional revenue stream between $10,000-$16,000 from Member spending.

What is required to become a host?

Hosting is simple! All that is required to Host is space to park one RVer for a one night stay, a business license, and products, services, or experiences to sell. Every Host receives a profile where Members can learn more about their business when deciding on their travels. Hosts have the ability to accept or deny stay requests using SMS (text messaging) or email, manage the number of RVs, and set blackout dates, in addition to many other features.

No hook-ups or services are required to host and there is no cost to join the program as a Host. All Members are self-contained, and do not require electricity, water, bathroom facilities, or any type of services. Just a gravel, paved or grassy area to park will provide Members everything they need! Should the Host have any of these amenities, Harvest Hosts allows the opportunity to charge a small fee for Members to use these.

What hosts have to say about being part of Harvest Hosts.

“We started hosting in August 2021 and have been thrilled with the response!  We’ve had over 200 reservations and virtually every guest was great.  And from a financial perspective, our relationship with Harvest Hosts has been a winner with an average sale from our farm store almost twice as high as from our non-RV visitors.” -Bill Power, Herd It Here Farm (Cottageville, SC)

“Since 2020, we have had over 1,000 Harvest Hosts guests stay with us on the Farm. They always follow the Harvest Hosts Code of Conduct and our rules about when and where to park. It has been a tremendous success for us, closing out 2021 with $60k in additional revenue from the program!” -Wendy R., Barton Lane Southern Orchards, Fort Valley, GA
